When your Droid is connected to a Wi-Fi network, you can quickly find its IP address by following the steps below. (These steps were written for a Droid running Android OS 2.2.3, so a Droid with a different version of the Android OS, some of the wording or the location of some settings may vary slightly.)
- Tap the Settings icon on the home screen. (If your home screen doesn't have the Settings icon, touch the Droid's Menu button, then select Settings.)
- Select Wireless & networks.
- Select Wi-Fi Settings.
- Select the network you are connected to. (It will be the first one on the list of networks, and it will say "Connected" beneath the network name.) The IP address will be displayed in a pop-up window.
