How to find the MAC address for a Motorola Droid Maxx smart phone

To see the MAC address (sometimes called hardware address or Ethernet address) for a Motorola Droid Maxx smart phone:

-Tap the Settings icon on the home screen, or tap the Apps icon (circle surrounding six small squares) and then select Settings.

- Scroll down to the bottom of the list of settings and tap About phone.

- Tap Status.

The MAC address will be listed toward the bottom, labeled "Wi-Fi MAC address."  You can see the MAC address even when the phone is disconnected from a wireless network, or when Wi-Fi is disabled.
