How to enable JavaScript in Firefox
In Firefox, enabling or disabling JavaScript can be done through the Firefox config page. When accessing the config page, always be careful not to make any unintended changes.
- In the address bar, type "about:config" and press <ENTER>
- Click on the "I'll be careful, I promise!" message
- In the config page search bar, type "javascript"
- Look for "javascript.enabled" in the search results. (It should be one of the first ones.)
- If JavaScript is enabled, "default" will be the status and "true" will be the value. Double click that line to change the status to "user set" and the value to "false," which will disable JavaScript.
- Close the config tab
